I partnered with Cosmic Cowgirls and over 12 other artists to raise funds for Girls Who Code!
The Cosmic Cowgirl team collaborated with over a dozen female artists to create Cosmic Cowgirls inspired pieces in their own personal style. These were auctioned off on a Cosmic Cowgirls Collab Opensea account!
From each piece, 80% of the proceeds went back to the artist and 20% of proceeds were donated to Girls Who Code.
Supporting Women in this industry
One of the biggest draws for me in Cosmic Cowgirls was there commitment to empowering women and girls. This charity auction was done both in part to raise funds for Girls who Code and also to give back to female artists in the space.
They spotlighted over 12 artists in this first event, with each piece getting a number of bids.
80% of the proceeds went back to the artists (including myself) with some of the artists choosing to donate more of their proceeds to the charity.
The comradery between us artists was amazing and I will continue to support each of them as I can!
All the pieces were wonderfully done, and together we raised $5016.96 USD!
